All- Day Café, Natura Café Opens At Dream Downtown

Dream Downtown has just welcomed its newest occupant in the form of a California-style all-day café and coffee shop: Natura Café. In collaboration with TAO Group, the ever-evolving hotel, is excited to launch this casual, counter service-style café that brings a new all-day dining option to the neighborhood.

Natura Café joins the property’s restaurant offerings, which include upscale Mexican restaurant Bodega Negra, open for dinner only, and The Beach, open seasonally during the warmer months for pool-side dining.

“At Dream, we are always thinking about how we can evolve and stay fresh, not only for our hotel guests, but for the neighborhood we’ve had the pleasure of calling home for the last seven years,” said Michael Lindenbaum, Executive Vice President, Hotel Development & Operations, Dream Hotel Group. “Throughout that time, we’ve seen this neighborhood change a great deal, as have the dining habits of New Yorkers and even how our team likes to eat. It was important to us to create an approachable space that serves these changing needs from breakfast, lunch or dinner, to coffee meetings, and everything in between.”

Signature dishes include: toasts like Cottage Cheese with fresh peaches, pistachios and wildflower honey, and Roasted Cherry Tomato, burrata, extra virgin olive oil, all served on Sullivan Street Bakery whole wheat sourdough bread; entree salads like Strawberry Fields, a salad of spinach, strawberries, seven grain croutons, almond and feta, tossed in a poppy seed vinaigrette, Smashed Cucumber, sweet tomato, tajin spice, preserved lemon and basil, and Tuscan Kale, sunflower seeds, raisins, radishes, pistachios and roasted garlic hummus, all available with a choice of protein like steak, shrimp, salmon, chicken or avocado; hearty sandwiches and large plates include a Mission-style California Burrito, the Cafe Burger, 6 oz. angus beef patty and choice of cheese on a potato bun, served with shoestring fries, and Grilled Skirt Steak, served with chimichurri alongside a gem lettuce salad.

Breakfast dishes range from the Breakfast Sandwich, made with Niman Ranch bacon, soft scrambled eggs and cheese, on a house made potato roll, and Fluffy Soufflé Pancakes made by whipping meringue in the batter, served with fresh berries and maple syrup, to the Three Egg Omelet and Acai Bowl, available all day.

Natura Café is open daily from 7AM – 9PM. Breakfast is served 7AM to 11AM, with an all-day menu kicking in beginning at 11AM.
