Get ready for a music festival that’s high on poolside comfort, low on long lines and dusty outdoor venues. W Hotels has announced Wake Up Call, an international “hotel music festival” series to kick off at W Hollywood (September 1-3), followed by tour stops at W Barcelona (September 21-23) and W Bali (October 4-6).

The experience is available exclusively for members of the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) and Marriott Rewards loyalty programs, although any discerning individual is able to join and book a stay at one of the tour stop hotels.

As a member, you’ll check into W Hollywood and then check out all the fun and comfort, with none of the dust, rain or mud sometimes encountered at other music fests. Instead, look forward to enjoying performances in total comfort, cocktail in hand, as you take in sets poolside and throughout W Hollywood. Think WET Deck parties, DJ master classes and intimate live performances.

The Los Angeles lineup already includes acts such as Phantogram, Charli XCX, Chromeo, Betty Who, Leon and Dancing Pineapple Presents: Codeko, Papa Ya, Christofi, and Phil N Good. Artists for the additional festival dates include Martin Solveig, Gorgon City, Thomas Jack, Boston Bun and special guest Pete Tong at W Barcelona; and Angus & Julia Stone, Sam Feldt and Nightmares on Wax at W Bali, with more still to be announced.

“Music is a universal language, one we have spoken since day one at W,” says Anthony Ingham, global brand leader, W Hotels Worldwide. “We’ve brought the Whatever/Whenever mentality to recording artists and guests for years — through concepts like our W Sound Suite recording studios and countless performances in W Living Rooms — all to bring people closer to the music they love. Now we are taking our groundbreaking Wake Up Call music festival around the world, disrupting the festival scene in ways that only a W hotel stay can.”

For such a unique musical experience, W Hotels wanted to offer an equally unique VIP package, Wake Up Call: The Complete Set List, for those who love live music just as much as they do jet-setting. With only one package available, The Complete Set List includes roundtrip airfare to all three festival destinations, incredible accommodations, VIP Fuel fitness workout sessions, VIP meet and greets, and more. The starting bid was set at 250,000 points and Marriott Rewards members who have linked accounts may transfer points into their SPG accounts to bid on the package.

We can think of no more fitting place to kick off W Hotels’ ambitious global music festival than the iconic W Hollywood, located at Hollywood and Vine. Whether a guest is soaking up soon on the rooftop WET Deck, grabbing a signature drink in The Living Room, enjoying a jazz session in The Loft or watching a film on the hotel’s 35-foot-tall screen in Station Hollywood, the W Hollywood delivers a memorable experience time and time again — and then is always ready for an encore.
