Boston restaurateurs are uniting once again to invite hungry diners into their dining rooms to celebrate some of the city’s best dishes. With the return of Dine Out Boston, the city’s take on Restaurant Week, now you have a great excuse to dine out every day for the next couple of weeks (Saturdays not included). Starting Monday and running through August 17, here is your chance to eat your way through the city either with a multi-course offering for lunch or dinner.

Whether you are craving a freshly wrapped sushi roll at a haute Seaport spot or prefer a night out on the town in the cozy North End, there are nearly 200 participating restaurants to choose from at the 18th annual event. The specialty restaurant program offers diners three pricing tiers for both lunch and dinner. (This is the second Dine Out Boston to run this year – the first was held in March).

From Faneuil Hall, Back Bay and Chinatown to Beacon Hill, the South End, Cambridge and beyond (including many suburbs), you can choose menus that range from deviled egg starters with truffle chive vinaigrette, New England clam chowder and mussels in garlic butter to main events featuring baked Boston style schrod, prime rib and filet mignon with hand mashed potatoes. Be sure to save room for dessert as each three-course offering comes with a sampling of a sweet finale (think salted caramel pudding jars, chocolate truffle cake and churros.

Here’s a sneak peek of City Table at the Lenox Hotel’s three-course dinner being offered next week:

Choice of appetizer: Chopped Salad, Crispy Artichokes, or Slow Cooked Meatballs

Choice of entrée: City Table Burger, Pan Roasted Faroe Islands Salmon, Steak Frites, Roasted Organic Half Chicken, or Veggie Risotto

Choice of dessert: Sticky Toffee Pudding or Triple Chocolate Cake

Each participating restaurant offers prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner (price and number of courses vary by restaurant). Some of this year’s participating restaurants include TAMO, SELECT Oyster Bar, Grill 23, The Capital Grille, Davio’s and Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House (and Grille), to name a few of our favorites.
