Waterfront residences in San Francisco are few and far in between. In fact, according to The John Buck Company, Paramount Group, Inc., and SRE Group Ltd, there is only one true waterfront property left, and it’s their recently unveiled project, One Steuart Lane. The 20-story condominium building is being developed directly across from the sparkling blue bay. 120 lucky homeowners will be able to enjoy daily views of the Bay Bridge, Treasure Island, the Ferry Building, and Cupid’s Span.

“One Steuart Lane represents an opportunity that will likely never again exist in San Francisco,” Ben Kochalski, a principal at The John Buck Company said in a statement. “From the meticulously designed residences set squarely on the waterfront to the unparalleled views and prime location, One Steuart Lane offers a world-class urban lifestyle for buyers who seek a private sanctuary but still desire a connection to the heart of the city.”

The one- to three-bedroom floor plans and penthouse residences range in size, from 900 to 3,100 square feet. All of the units have floor-to-ceiling windows and high ceilings which provide ample natural light. Many have private balconies and terraces that overlook the bay. Architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill designed the building as an urban sanctuary with an indoor-outdoor mentality that is characteristic of California.

Residents will revel in One Steuart Lane’s amenities which include a spa with water therapy showers and sauna, outdoor jacuzzi and sun terrace, 24-hour lobby and valet, a lounge with full kitchen, outdoor dining and gathering spaces, and a private fitness center. Near the Embarcadero, on the corner of Howard and Steuart Streets, the new building will be completed in early 2021. The sales gallery will open in 2020, and the team is confident that the project will be a massive success.

“The San Francisco market has proven ready for a building of this caliber right now as tech titans open new offices in the city,” Kochalski said. “With limited for-sale inventory slated to hit the market in the coming years, demand will grow for upscale housing that offers subtle, yet high-class design elements and is conveniently located next to the growing tech hub.”
