Fendi heated up the street of Paris on July 4 as the Italian couture brand displayed its Fall/Winter 2018-2019 collection. Here, stunning fabrics blurred the lines of memory as frayed organza and fringed chiffon became trompe l’oeil surfaces and sintesi mosaics, while gheronato chevrons created featherweight shells of tufted cashmere, shaved mink and shearling.
The collection was vibrant, show-stopping, some in candy-colored hues of pink and lavender, others in shimmering gold, and many in bold, statement-making red.Front row guests traveled near and far for the show, including Mandy Moore, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, Jamie Campbell Bower, Nico Vascellari, influencer Chiara Ferragni, Tina Kunakey, Jessica Jung, Hkari Mori, Qi Wei and many others.
Prominently on site from the Fendi family were Delfina Delettrez Fendi and Leonetta Luciano Fendi, the daughters of Silvia Venturini Fendi.
Also present was Jamie Campbell Bower, lead singer of the British band called “Counterfeit” and “Harry Potter” saga actor; he also happens to be the Fendi ambassador for the Men’s SS18 and FW 18-19 Eyewear Collection.
