Back By Popular Demand, Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya Is Coming To Las Vegas In Late 2018

The people have spoken – Blue Ribbon sushi is returning to Las Vegas.

Brothers, chefs and Blue Ribbon Restaurants co-founders Bruce and Eric Bromberg will open Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya at the luxury four-diamond Red Rock Resort in late 2018. Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas closed in 2017 to make way for American brasserie Blue Ribbon Las Vegas.

“We are thrilled to partner with Station Casinos to open Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya and join the stellar culinary lineup at Red Rock Resort,” said Bruce Bromberg in a statement to the press. “Blue Ribbon Sushi had quickly become a favorite with both residents and tourists alike in Las Vegas, and in response to popular demand, we are excited to return.”

Located in the upscale Summerlin suburb, about 10 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip, the new pub-style Japanese-style tavern will include a traditional sushi bar, fresh fish flown in daily from Japan, an extensive wine and sake selection, and indoor-outdoor seating.

Vegetarians, meat eaters and sushi lovers alike will find plenty on the menu of small bites, entrées and family-style dishes. Expect to find Blue Ribbon Sushi favorites such as the restaurant’s award-winning fried chicken with wasabi honey. Bruce Bromberg also teases a hip happy hour and late-night dining in “a comfortable welcoming atmosphere.”

Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya will join the strong culinary lineup at Red Rock Resort that includes Scott Conant’s Masso Osteria, T-bones Chophouse and Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar. It will be located toward the front of the property, in the space formerly occupied by Libre Mexican Cantina.
