5 Can’t Miss Spots During Las Vegas Restaurant Week 2018

Las Vegas Restaurant Week is in full swing and just about every restaurant worth its salt is participating this year. Philanthropic foodies have a chance to help Three Square Food Bank by dining out at any of the more than 150 participating restaurants through Friday, June 29. A portion of the fixed price of $30, $40, $50 or $80 from each meal benefits Nevada‘s only food bank.

Among the grand mix are some of the city’s spendiest dining destinations and the world’s finest chefs. From seafood to salad to sizzling steak, here are five luxurious choices for Las Vegas Restaurant Week 2018.

Bazaar Meat by José Andrés

James Beard Award-winner and Michelin-starred chef José Andrés created the carnivore’s ultimate dream, Bazaar Meat at the SLS Las Vegas. Designed by Philippe Starck, this spin on sophisticated steakhouses is known for its shared plates and social atmosphere. Dine out protein-style during restaurant week on an $80 four-course dinner with choices like Cotton Candy Foie Gras, Magneson Organic Hereford Ribeye and New Zealand Merino Lamb Rack. Wine pairings are available for an additional $25 per person.


Estiatorio Milos

The dry desert of Las Vegas is no challenge for acclaimed seafood chef Costas Spiliadis. He serves up the finest and freshest of fish with views of the Las Vegas Strip at his Greek restaurant Estiatorio Milos at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. His Mediterranean seafood restaurant is beloved around the world with additional locations in Montreal, New York, Athens, Miami and London. During restaurant week, you can enjoy a four-course meal includes choices like Oysters, Octopus, Lavraki and Filet Mignon, as well as a fifth-course dessert, for only $80.

Celebrity Chef Charlie Palmer and Executive Chef John Church unveiled a new vision last year for Palmer’s restaurant Aureole at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Famous for its four-story wine tower and intrepid bottle-retrieving “wine angels,” the restaurant boasts a fresh American root, ranch and surf menu as well as three separate dining areas: an intimate bar and lounge, main dining room and fine dining terrace. For restaurant week, Aureole is offering a $50 three-course dinner with choices like Shortrib Ravioli, Crab Salad, Beef Tenderloin and Chocolate Souffle.


GIADA

Emmy Award-winning celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis cultivated her staple Italian cuisine in her family’s kitchen in Rome and Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. Her first Las Vegas restaurant GIADA is celebrating four years at The Cromwell this year. The beautiful restaurant will offer both a brunch and dinner menu for Las Vegas Restaurant Week. The $30 brunch menu features four-courses including choices like Margherita pizzette, Lemon Pesto Grilled Cheese and a Lemon Ricotta Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich. The $80 dinner begins with an Antipasti Platter and Arugula Salad, both served family-style, plus a choice of the Petit Filet, Berkshire Pork Tomahawk or Pistachio Crusted Salmon and dessert.

Location. Location. Location. Italian tapas restaurant Lago, not to be confused with its rhyming neighbor Spago, also overlooks the iconic fountains at Bellagio Resort & Casino. Lago comes from James Beard Award-winning chef Julian Serrano, who is also Executive Chef at Bellagio’s celebrated Picasso. The restaurant week menu includes a $30 lunch with choices like Caprese Salad, Lasagna Verde, Branzino Livornese and Carpaccio as well as an $80 dinner with a four-course dinner with choices including Brodetto di Vongole, Gnocchi Alla Romana, Polpette di Carne, Scaloppina di Vitello and dessert.
