When the temperatures start soaring there is nothing New Yorkers crave more than a pool to cool off with. Have no fear if you’re not heading to the Hamptons for the weekend as New York has some fantastic options to make you feel like you’ve left the city for the day. Here are 5 pools to add to your summer bucket list this season.

Summer Membership: Starting at $5,000, Membership Packages guarantee a pergola or day bed all season long, with additional member perks including 25% off cabanas and daybeds, and priority reservations at Westlight and Leuca.

Day Passes: Starting at $150, locals can reserve their choice of chaise, pergula, daybed or cabana with Vale Park’s Day Passes (available Monday through Thursday).

High Roller Package: With the new High Roller package, guests experience the suite life in the property’s two-floor Vale Garden Residence, complete with private terrace jacuzzi. Sunbathe at Vale Pool with reserved cabana and two bottles of rosé.

Channeling the glamour of the Côte d’Azur in the heart of New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood, The Beach at Dream Downtown boasts an impressive 4,800 square foot beach and a glass bottom swimming pool looking into the hotel lobby. The Beach includes real Hamptons-imported sand and private cabanas that come complete with flat screen TV’s and lounges. Groups can order from a menu of large scale cocktails inside a Fresh Fruit like a Watermelon Keg with Herradura Blanco, fresh watermelon, habanero pepper and fresh lime.

Located on the top floor of The James Soho Hotel, this indoor/outdoor tropical oasis features regular pool parties with a rotating schedule of DJs, including the occasional celebrity guest DJ. The Profundo Day Club kicked off it’s Summer 2018 season over Memorial Day Weekend. Located right outside the city, this pool will transport you from summer in the city to a resort-like setting with beautiful, unobstructed views of Manhattan. The pool will be open 7 days a week, and feature DJs playing ‘pool house’ providing the space with a very chill atmosphere. There are cabanas and day beds available for purchase, as well as bottle service, craft cocktails and elevated pool bites.
