Boston Harbor Hotel, home to the most expensive and luxurious suite in town, is giving us reason once again to celebrate the summer.
For the 20th year, they are bringing back their specialty “Summer in the City” series on the waterfront featuring live music from local bands as well as classic movies by moonlight every Tuesday through Friday.

This might be the best excuse all summer to book a weekend staycation close to home at the gorgeous Boston Harbor Hotel. Whether you come for an intimate multi-course dinner with wine pairings recommended by Executive Chef Daniel Bruce at Meritage or opt to share the experience with the entire family at Rowes Wharf Sea Grille, the Summer in the City series (running now through August 31) is a fun experience for all ages every summer.
Even better, the hotel’s luxe accommodations have recently undergone a renovation and the Rowes Wharf Sea Grille also has an updated patio offering a front row waterfront view of Boston Harbor. They have also added some outdoor umbrellas for the unpredictable New England weather as well as a heating system for those chilly nights.

The lineup for this summer’s entertainment includes live music on a floating barge featuring Pop Soul Tuesdays, Rat Pack Wednesdays and Blues Barge Thursdays. The Bruce Marshall Band kicked off the series and this year’s calendar includes the Racky Thomas Band, Sweet Tooth & The Sugar Babies and Mike Dutra Strictly Sinatra Band.
One of the most fun events is Movies by Moonlight shown every Friday on their outdoor big screen. Keep an eye out for flicks like Grease, The Lion King and Wizard of Oz and Hook.

Summer in the City is open to the public. All of the live entertainment gets underway at 6pm Tuesday through Thursday and the movies start at dusk on Fridays. The Boston Harbor Hotel is located at 70 Rowes Wharf in Boston.
