Golf season is well under way and a brand new collaboration is here to refresh your duds. RLX Ralph Lauren has partnered with pro golfer Billy Horschel to create a capsule collection – making this the first creative golf collaboration for Ralph Lauren.
Horschel has been all over the news lately because of his spectacular win at the Zurich Classic tournament in New Orleans where he brought home a total of over $1 million. A few days later he was present at the launch of his partnership with RLX at the Ralph Lauren men’s flagship store on Madison Avenue in NYC.
This collaboration seems to follow a logical course (pun intended!). Horschel has been an ambassador for Ralph Lauren since 2011 and has a particularly stylish reputation on and of the golf course. Remember the famous octopus pants from 2013? No? Here’s a flashback.

…so teaming up with RLX to help design a collection seems only natural.
He worked closely with the design team where the most important components to him were the color palette and the detailing. For colors, he stuck with the classic white, gray, and navy. His favorite, the octopus pattern, is on a few of the pieces including a pair shorts. In fact, you can spot them on Horschel the day before the PGA Championship during practice. The championship will take place in August at the Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis. The range will have an ode the US Tennis open.
The collection will be available mid-July and will include pants featuring Horschel’s favorite silhouette, that of the RLX five-pocket tech pant, along with polo shirts, shorts, pants, knitwear, jackets, and a women’s capsule. You’ll find both collections at major golf retailers and online.
