After a January opening, The James New York – NoMad is officially in full swing thanks to LDV Hospitality! After a complete renovation, guests and New Yorkers alike can find Scarpetta’s new flagship location (relocated from the Meatpacking district after 10 years) and The Seville social cocktail lounge under the same roof.

As the NoMad area continues to revitalize itself, it’s with great excitement that social cocktail lounge The Seville has found a home at The James New York – NoMad. This prohibition-themed speakeasy is a new concept by John Meadow’s boutique hospitality group LDV Hospitality and definitely what the area’s nightlife needed. Located beneath the hotel, this stylish hideaway offers a curated music program, classic cocktails with a twist, and an intimate setting perfect for any occasion.

The Seville is a return to the throwback New York cocktail lounge adapted for today’s social life. A curated music program of old school hits, ranging from 90’s New York hip-hop to 60’s classic rock, will invigorate the room. With live performances and DJ sets by ‘The Ladies of the Seville,’ the music and cocktails will transport you to an authentic feel good place.

Hospitable bartenders create innovative cocktails, such as a wood-planked smoked old fashioned and a barrel aged Negroni, served up table-side. Whether it’s a humpday happy hour, after-work cocktail, or late night on a Saturday, The Seville brings back the New York night with an eclectic mix of young and old souls alike.

In partnership with Absolut Elyx, The Seville’s ‘Beaux-Arts Beauty’ cocktail – made of Absolut Elyx, St. Germain, White Tea, Watermelon, and Pomegranate – can be served in both a copper Pineapple (serving up to 4 guests) and copper Disco Ball (serving up to 6 guests), each served with accompanying copper coupes. Our other large format specialties, including the Donna Anna’s Revenge, The Halo and the Plank Smoked Old Fashioned (for up to 4 guests), are served in various crystal presentations.

The Seville is the latest establishment from LDV Hospitality Group. Inspired La Dolce Vita, “The Good Life,” the group was founded by John Meadow in 2008 with properties spanning across eight cities throughout the country. The group is known for creating authentic and unique and restaurant and cocktail bar experiences which are showcased through it’s impressive portfolio that include Scarpetta, American Cut, and Dolce Italian, along with hotel concepts such as The Beach Club MTK, The Regent Cocktail Club, and Corso Coffee.
LDV also works with iconic hotel partners including The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, The Fontainebleau of Miami, Gurney’s Resorts in Montauk, Gurney’s Resort in Newport, The Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia and The James New York – NoMad.
