On Thursday evening, Dior, Artsy, and Bergdorf Goodman hosted a cocktail party in celebration of The Artsy Vanguard, a multi-channel initiative that celebrates and supports contemporary artists through an art and fashion takeover at Bergdorf Goodman.

From Artsy’s annual list of the 50 most influential artists shaping the future of contemporary art in 2018, Artsy has selected artists Hayden Dunham, Lena Henke, and Hannah Levy to create site-specific installations in Bergdorf Goodman’s iconic Fifth Avenue windows featuring fashion looks from the Dior Fall 2018 collection. The windows, which debuted on May 3, will be on display through May 20.

The artists created fantastical, dreamy landscapes for their windows using raw materials like glass shards from Dunham, fiberglass ropes from Henke and polished steel claws and silicone sculptures from Levy.

Champagne and hors d’oeuvres were served at the Dior-presented event, while guests explored an art exhibition on the second floor of the store, featuring work by six additional artists from The Artsy Vanguard – TM Davy, Rochelle Feinstein, Allison Janae Hamilton, Tyler Mitchell, Cynthia Talmadge, and Lina Iris Viktor, which will also be on display through May 20.

Among the Dior and Dior Homme-clad attendees were Hannah Bronfman, Alexandra Richards, Carlotta Kohl, Kelsey Asbille, Philippa Coulthard and Isaac Hinden-Miller.
