Have you ever wanted to throw an elegant dinner party for 40 but struggled to find the proper place-setting? Or maybe you want to transform your backyard into an upscale lounge for a birthday celebration, but are disappointed by the generic sofas that most rental companies offer? Theoni is based in Napa Valley—the Laurel Heights boutique is owner Betsy Stone’s third storefront. She has a location in Napa and another in Beverly Hills. “Opening a San Francisco showroom felt like an essential next step for Theoni. My career started in San Francisco—it’s where I built my relationships in this business and where some of the nation’s most beautiful events occur in some of the most stunning venues,” Stone said in a statement. “We are lucky to have this space on Sacramento Street where we can welcome planners, brides, and curators to create and use our collection to make their events—and ultimately their memories—unforgettable. To me, that’s always been the dream; that’s what life is all about.”

The new San Francisco showroom is a space meant to entice event planners, caterers, florists, and home entertainers. Stone offers everything one could need to orchestra an upscale event, from Limoges plates to Lenox gold-rimmed stemware. Stone developed a line of brass-and-velvet dining chairs that come in a wide variety of colors. She also has wooden tables, rattan Provencal-inspired chairs, and polished candelabras.

Stone is continuously adding to her collection sourcing items like rose gold flatware from all over the world. A huge fan of variety, Stone has something for every taste, from silver-rimmed classic China to the modern pottery-inspired pieces by millennial favorite Heath. All the items are displayed in a manner that is meant to prompt collaboration and creativity. With over 40 years in the events industry, Stone knows a thing or two about creating glamorous and elegant affairs. With her new shop, she’s bringing this expertise to the masses.
