The Masters Tournament, held in Augusta, Georgia, is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, in both the worlds of golf and sport as a whole. Making the event even more incredible was JetSmarter—the membership-only, on-demand private jet service—partnering with Dom Pérignon, for a one-of-a-kind experience for 12 select JetSmarter members, who flew in for the final round of the tournament to witness history.
The exclusive day trip began at Miami’s West Palm Beach private jet terminal, where guests boarded an impressive G4 jet on Sunday morning to start the day off right with a 2009 vintage Dom Pérignon Champagne tasting. The jet was decked out in Dom Pérignon gear, as each seat was fashioned with a customized pillow, leather head rest and straw hat, as well as personalized bottles of Champagne with each guest’s name engraved on the bottle, and cufflinks and candles inside individual gift bags.
After a short flight of approximately one-and-a-half hours, guests were whisked off in a Mercedes Sprinter to the renowned Legends Club, adjacent to the Augusta golf course, where Dom Pérignon had set up a luxury hospitality suite. As the tournament played on multiple big-screen televisions, à la minute chefs cooked up fresh pastas, pizzas, sushi and more, while servers kept the Dom Pérignon flowing. Each guest then received a highly-coveted day pass for entry into the tournament, which was located just across the street from the Legends Club.
After a full and riveting day of superb golf on the gorgeous Augusta golf grounds—and after watching history being made as Patrick Reed won the prestigious tournament—the guests returned to the Legends Club for more food, Champagne and festivities, before heading back to the private jet terminal in Augusta that evening. As soon as the guests boarded the G4 jet to return back to Miami, they were greeted with flowing flutes of Dom Pérignon’s incredible P2 2000 Champagne, to accompany them on the ride back home. Upon landing in West Palm Beach, pleasant and professional JetSmarter staff escorted the guests back into the terminal from the tarmac, to complete the action—and luxury—packed day in style.
