The annual springtime fête at the Malnik estate invited Miami’s most influential philanthropists to celebrate a gorgeous Miami afternoon at Al & Nancy Malnik‘s home for the Malnik Garden Party. The highly-attended celebration kicks off the upcoming InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish® Ball season and reveals the anticipated theme for the upcoming grand Ball. The Malnik’s revealed that the 2018 Ball theme will be Summer of Love.

The theme itself is left to be cryptic, leaving the attendees wondering what the skilled team has in store for this year’s event. Whatever it may be, it’s undoubtedly going to be over-the-top, awe-inspiring and bigger and better than the years’ prior.

Shareef Malnik, Chairman of Board of Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida, Gala Chair of the InterContinental® Miami Make-A-Wish® Ball, and proprietor of The Forge Restaurant | Wine Bar, broke the news to the crowd. As always, the philanthropic entrepreneur rallied excitement for another spectacular sell-out event. To the audience’s great pleasure, he also announced the return of the Ball celebrity emcee, actress and filmmaker (and his beloved wife), Gabrielle Anwar. She will be returning to the stage for the 8th year in a row, bringing excitement and what’s sure to be a memorable show.

The 2018 Ball will take place on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018. To get a sneak-peek of what’s to come, the 200 attendees of the Garden Party were treated to a special live performance by Dreams of Crystal Vision band who played classic hits of Fleetwood Mac as they enjoyed gourmet canapés and cocktails.
