In an unexpected, yet unbelievable partnership, Haute Living brought both together food and fashion under one roof, in none other than Miami Design District‘s Zegna boutique, for a one-of-a-kind dinner and shopping event.

Guests, who included JR and Loren Ridinger; Barry Skolnick and Missy Brody; Richard and Susie Charlton; and Shareef Malnik and Gabrielle Anwar, among others, were immediately greeted with Champagne and cocktails upon entry to the store, whilst they perused and shopped Zegna’s latest collection. The collection consisted of summer-friendly clothes, boasting colorful pastels, linens and tailored suits. Shortly thereafter, they went to the second floor of the boutique-turned-restaurant, which housed a beautifully appointed dining table, right in the middle of the shop.

To begin the exquisite dinner, Ermenegildo Zegna’s Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communications Shauna Brook said a few gracious words and introduced famed young chef, Mario Carbone himself, who thanked Haute Living and Zegna for hosting the evening and gave a little bit of background of his restaurant. He also mentioned that this was one of the only times that he and his restaurant staff—who all flew into Miami for the event—closed their New York City restaurant doors to host a “pop-up” restaurant. “Welcome to Carbone Miami. It’s only going to last about two hours…I’m very happy to be here and I hope you all enjoy the evening.”

Haute Living CEO Kamal Hotchandani also addressed the group, thanking the Carbone and Zegna teams, as well as his esteemed guests for being a part of such an incredible event.

As the guests wined and dined on some of the restaurant’s most well-known dishes, including Burrata & Caviar, Octopus Pizzaiolo, Caesar alla ZZ, Spicy Rigatoni Vodka Macaroni, Halibut Piccata, Veal Parmesan and Chocolate Cake, they also freely shopped Zegna’s latest collection and posed for pictures with Chef. Guests left the spectacularly memorable evening full with Carbone’s delicious food and new wardrobe items from Zegna.
