The Pebble Beach Food & Wine (PBFW) festival, now in its 11th year, is getting ready to take over 17-mile drive in Monterey. April 5 through 8, the top chefs, winemakers, and restauranteurs in the nation will gather for a four-day bacchanal extravaganza. The culinary event features interactive cooking demonstrations, rare wine tastings, epic cooking collaborations, intimate dinners, and a grand tasting tent, sponsored by Lexus. Live music will play a bigger role in this year’s PBFW with performances from Allen Stone and Citizen Cope.

Over 120 chefs and 250 winemakers will be on hand cooking and pouring wine. Participating chefs include Daniel Boulud, Alex Guarnaschelli, Naomi Pomeroy, Ludo Lefebvre, Elizabeth Falkner, Richard Reddington, Ravi Kapur, Matthew Accarrino, Peter Armellino, Roland Passot, and many more. One of the reasons so many chefs love PBFW is the golf tournament—on Friday it’s already sold out!

As always, the schedule is filled with fascinating educational seminars and once-in-a-lifetime meals. Learn how to pair burgers with beaujolais, about the Hawaiian food craze, or how to make pasta by hand. Rombauer, Tablas Creek, Chateau Haut Brion, and Patz & Hall are some of the wineries hosting special programs.
