Get your finest rose gold makeup brushes ready as the L Makeup Cosmetic Store is launching a workshop series at their Tivoli Village location. Starting Tuesday, April 17 a total of 13 classes will be open to the public for beauty aficionados of all ages. From beginners to beauty gurus, the workshops at the L Makeup Cosmetic Store will range from highlighting and contouring like the pros to achieving a younger look through the use of cosmetics.
Each class is 45 to 60-minutes long and range from $35 to $55. The fee is applied towards the purchase of products from the shop. L Makeup Cosmetic Store is the only accredited school offering a full curriculum in makeup artistry in Las Vegas. It is owned by the brilliant professional makeup artist Lissette Waugh.
1. FLAWLESS COMPLEXION
April 7, 2018: 11AM – 12PM
Learn how to achieve flawless skin by learning about the variety of tools available to apply foundation. Techniques found in this workshop includes L Makeup’s three-step process to achieving flawless foundation through skin prep, prime, and color match ($55).
2. IMPERFECTIONS & COMPLEXION
April 14, 2018: 11AM – 12PM
The imperfections and complexion workshop illustrates the different types of undertones and the best way to conceal a variety of skin imperfections from subtle to severe, including hyperpigmentation and melasma ($55).
3. HIGHLIGHT & CONTOURING
April 21, 2018: 11AM – 12PM
This workshop teaches you how to understand your face shape in order to bring out your most flattering features using the highlight and contour technique ($55).
4. HALO MY EYES & STROBE MY FACE
April 28, 2018: 11AM – 12PM
Strobbing is a popular beauty trend right now. The pros leading this workshop teach you how to create the hottest eyeshadow looks using an array of metallic and glitter eyeshadows to create an eye-popping look. You will also learn how to extend this look onto your cheekbones, thus creating the famous strobing effect ($55).
5. SMOKE MY EYES OUT
May 5, 2018: 11AM – 12PM
Learn how to achieve the perfectly blended and elegant smokey eye without the mess. This look is like the famous little black dress because it goes with everything you wear. A must attend ($55)!
6. APPLYING MAKEUP FOR TEENAGERS

This workshop will focus on creating a camera-ready look and how to accentuate certain features to perfect your selfies ($55).
8. THE BEAUTY OF COLOR

Working with color can be intimidating but the overall look is stunning. This workshop teaches you how to apply vibrant eyeshadow colors to inject some fun into your makeup routine ($55).
9. 40s & FABULOUS
June 2, 2018: 11AM – 12PM
This workshop on how to achieve a younger look at any age through the power of cosmetics is probably one of the most exciting workshops on the roster. Guests will learn specific makeup tricks and how to properly apply them to help achieve a youthful glow ($55).
10. WATERPROOFING YOUR MAKEUP
June 9, 2018: 11AM – 12PM
Women in Las Vegas have one beauty problem in common during the summer season: sweat. This class teaches top tips for combating the extreme heat and creating a long-lasting effect on your makeup. Both specific products and application techniques will be showcased to ensure a lasting look ($55).
11. WING MY EYES
June 16, 2018: 11AM – 11:45 a.m.
The pros at L Makeup Institute will teach you about different eye shapes and different winged looks. After the video illustration is over, they’ll help you identify your own shape and help pair you with the type of winged liner that best suits for your eye shape ($35).
12. All ABOUT THE BROWS
June 23, 2018: 11AM – 11:45 a.m.
The eyebrows frame the face, which makes them the top facial feature to focus on. Learn easy techniques on how to fill in and extend eyebrows to achieve the perfect look for your face($35).
