Hotel Bel-Air Is Hosting A Farmer’s Market & Dinner This Weekend

LA has no shortage of them and this Sunday, March 18, there will be another farmer’s market in town. The ultra-luxe Hotel Bel-Air is transforming its lush front lawn into a farmer’s market featuring fresh produce and specialty food items such as homemade pasta and freshly baked bread from Coleman Farms, Weiser Farms, Sonoma Liberty Farms, and Bohemian Creamery.

Shoppers will sip yummy mimosas from the mimosa bar while they pick out their favorite produce and nosh on seasonal tray passed treats courtesy of the hotel’s in-house Wolfgang Puck restaurant. The market will also feature a selection of Valmont beauty products from the top-rated Hotel Bel-Air spa.

For the ultimate food enthusiasts, the hotel is also hosting an intimate farmer’s dinner in Wolfgang Puck’s Private Dining Room starring dishes prepared by executive chef Hugo Bolanos in collaboration with local farms. Expect to savor Weiser Farms’ famous marble potatoes paired fresh morel mushrooms alongside Coleman Farms’ market greens with delta asparagus from the San Joaquin Valley. Chef Bolanos also plans to please the palates of meat lover’s with the best duck on the West Coast from Jim Reichardt (aka The Duckman) in Sonoma. He’ll also be highlighting whole birds from beak to tail. Bones will be used for a sauce and the breasts will be slowly cooked with seasonal fruits from Pudwill Farms. It’s safe to say, the dinner will be quite the feast. 

The farmer’s market will take place from 9am to 12pm and is open to the public. The farmer’s dinner begins at 6pm. Limited seats are available. Tickets are $125 per person. Call 310-909-1644 to make a reservation.
