Following a $10 million redesign, acclaimed chef Helene An has reopened the doors to Crustacean Beverly Hills. This time as not just one, but two restaurants. In addition to the iconic Crustacean, the House of AN hospitality group will also debut a second restaurant right upstairs called Da Lat Rose this May.
Crustacean’s menu has been completely reimagined, but An’s famed Euro-Vietnamese fusion cuisine still remains the inspiration. Expect tuna cigars, surf and turf sashimi, pho soup dumplings, and himalayan salt block steak. The Secret Kitchen items will also be available including An’s garlic noodles and dungeness crab.
The bar program also got a makeover. Led by beverage director Peter Barriga, the new bar menu features libations with exotic ingredients. Look out for the Turmeric Mule, the Artichoke Old Fashion, and the High Tea Penicillin, which will impress any cocktail connoisseur with its black tea-infused Chivas scotch blend, ginger and honey syrup, and black tea and lavender cloud. 
As for the design, it’s just as luxe and glam as you’d expect from the beloved restaurant that’s called the 90210 home for 20 years. The vibe is bright and airy accentuated with pops of grey, pink, and baby blue. The restaurant’s signature floor water feature still remains giving diners the illusion of walking on water. And the floor plan has been made more versatile with adjustable walls made to accommodate private parties of different sizes.
Despite being closed for renovations for eight months, the celebrity hotspot hasn’t missed a beat. The restaurant has already hosted numerous star-studded events including the Woman in Film pre-Oscar party with Emma Stone before it opened its doors to the public yesterday.
