South Bay residents listen up! You no longer have to come to the city to receive coolsculpting, botox, and juvederm treatments from the Dr. Lisa Kang. The dynamic doctor has opened a second location of her upscale medical offices, Serenity MedSpa, in Burlingame. “I’m thrilled to offer this new, luxurious medspa as a more convenient location for our many existing and new Peninsula and South Bay clients,” Dr. Kang said in a statement.

Kang and her brother, Dr. David Kang, opened the original Serenity MedSpa in San Francisco 12 years ago. She is known for her innovative, effective, and noninvasive beauty treatments. At the Burlingame location, the most advanced procedures are available. Think stem cell therapy, state-of-the-art lasers, and feminine rejuvenation. “One of our latest treatments that is also gaining popularity, especially among moms, is the new Diva feminine rejuvenation treatment,” Kang explains. “Diva helps to tighten the vaginal canal, increase lubrication and helps with stress urinary incontinence. I had this treatment done myself and definitely have noticed improvements.” All of the treatments that are offered in the city–such as laser hair removal, vampire facials, PRP treatments for face and hair–are also on the menu at the Serenity MedSpa Burlingame.

The clean and modern space was inspired by the original location’s look, decor by Sophie Azouaou of Sophisticate Interiors. For Serenity MedSpa, the team created an accent wall with precious puro stones that is backlit with calming lights. Green elements were also incorporated. Glass countertops and mirrors make the office feel contemporary not clinical. For the ultimate relaxation experience, guests are invited to use two Inada Dreamwave massage chairs before or after treatments.

To celebrate the debut of the new Serenity MedSpa, the team hosted a lively event with cocktails and passed appetizers. At the event, which brought together 200 of the Bay’s elite, Serenity raffled off prizes while the crowd enjoyed the new facility.

The new Serenity MedSpa is now open in Burlingame at 1720 El Camino Real, Suite #160.
