Octavia Spencer is hoping to repeat the kind gesture she did for single parents and struggling families last year: buying out a theater for a free show.

A couple of days ago, Spencer took to Instagram to share her thoughts about Black Panther.

“I will be in [Mississippi] when this movie opens. I think I will buy out a theatre in an underserved community there to ensure that all our brown children can see themselves as a superhero. I will let you know where and when Mississippi. Stay tuned,” said Spencer.

Though it’s merely a thought for her now, Spencer has been known for following through on her word.

Last year, she bought movie tickets for the Oscar-nominated film Hidden Figures, the filmed highlighting three African-American mathematician women who contributed to the success of NASA during the Space Race in the 60s. Spencer’s motive for buying the tickets was to help families who couldn’t afford a ticket to watch the film, inspired by the financial struggles of her mother.

“Tomorrow I’ve bought the 8 PM showing of #hiddenfigures the rave Baldwin hills. If you know a family in need that would like to see our movie but can’t afford it have them come. It’s first-come-first-served. My mom would not have been able to afford to take me and my siblings. So, I’m honoring her and all single parents this #mlkweekend Pass the word,” said Spencer.

Octavia Spencer is said to be reuniting with The Help director Tate Taylor to star in Ma as a “psychologically killer.” The film will be produced by the creators of InsidiousThe Purge, and Get Out.
