It’s hot. A sentence inspired by INFERNO at Paris Las Vegas and not Paris Hilton.
The firey production is led by the critically acclaimed European and four-time Merlin Award winner illusionist Joe Labero. He faces plenty of challenges throughout INFERNO. His first and foremost challenge is to fool the large live audience with his illusions. The second challenge is to keep those illusions a secret and the third one is to keep his cast, and himself, from setting ablaze.
Excessive use of fire elements is an integral component of the show, though Labero is talented enough to carry out the show without it. The team behind the dynamic special effects are world-renowned fire and pyro specialists who have created spectacles at the Super Bowl, Coachella, and more.
“INFERNO is like nothing The Strip has seen before. Fire brings out something primal in everyone. It’s one element that’s never quite been tamed and this show will push the most talented fire artists in the world to their absolute limits, letting audiences live out their pyromaniac dreams,” said Kris Russell, co-producer.
The symbolism of the inability to tame is effectively depicted by not only Labero’s ever mind-boggling and audacious stunts but by the assistance of The Fuel Girls. They joined the show just after touring the UK with Fall Out Boy.
They’re one of the best and last all-female performance groups in the world. Having performed in venues worldwide, The Fuel Girls are no strangers to the display of ferocious and mesmerizing pyrotechnics. Masterfully, they descend from the ceilings, twirl and swallow fire, and are adorned in the most remarkable ensembles.
A suggestion for The Merriam-Webster Dictionary company is to have INFERNO illustrated next to the word magnificence because they’re absolutely NOTHING short of that.
I won’t ruin the comic relief for you, but look out for the naked guy in the bathtub with a rubber duck cheekily placed between his legs. He is masterful in his own right and a talent so committed to his character that you’ll find yourself cheering for him.
