On Friday, Esquire’s Jay Fielden and Hollywood power couple Mike and Irena Medavoy celebrated the nominees of the 75th annual Golden Globe Awards.Guests at the party included both Golden Globe nominees and other notables, including Joan Collins, Laura Dern, Alexandre Desplat, Leonardo DiCaprio, Paul Feig, Lukas Haas,Ashley Judd, Kyle MacLachlan, Tobey Maguire, Edgar Ramirez, Sugar Ray Leonard, Kelly Rohrbach, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jimmi Simpson, Jennifer Stallone, istine Stallone, Sophia Stallone, Darren Star and Milo Ventimiglia. The party, held at the Medavoys Beverly Hills home, followed the magazine’s “Mavericks of Style” event in Fall 2017, which honored a unique group of men and women whose style is completely their own, and “Mavericks of Hollywood” in Spring 2017, which shined the spotlight on those in the entertainment community who continually inspire with their creativity.

Moët & Chandon—the official champagne of the Golden Globes for over a quarter century—kicked off the weekend festivities by celebrating the official launch of its 3rd Annual Moët Moment Film Festival (MMFF).The fête, held at Poppy in West Hollywood, honored this year’s MMFF Lead Judges and Star Wars costars – Golden Globe nominee Laura Dern and Hollywood royalty’s rising ingénue Billie Lourd. The pair were joined by creator of this year’s official Moët Golden Globes cocktail, actresses Jamie Chung and Alexis Knapp, among others. Also in attendance was last year’s MMFF Grand Prize Winner, Jack Welles, celebrated for his and his co-director Peter Parsucci’s first-place 60-second film, ‘Know Yourself’. The fashionable crowd sipped Moët & Chandon from golden goblets while dancing to beats by DJ Anthony Pisano.

On Saturday afternoon, W magazine hosted a luncheon celebrating its It girls, hosted by Lynn Hirschberg in partnership with Dior. Attendees at A.O.C. included Princess Olympia of Greece, Kelly Rohrbach, Sistine Stallone, Taylor Hill, Larsen Thompson, Bethany Mota, Beau Dunn, Tracee Ellis Ross, Hong Chau, Katherine Langford, Maika Monroe, Alicia Silverstone and Alison Brie.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) celebrated the 2018 Awards Season with its annual Tea Party on Saturday. Awards season nominees, along with leading executives, celebrities and BAFTA members enjoyed British tea and scones, and cocktails in the uniquely relaxed surroundings of a traditional British Tea Party. As well as honoring the year’s nominees and winners, the Tea Party also raised awareness of BAFTA Los Angeles’ wider work including its Access for All campaign, a commitment to ensuring that talented individuals are offered a clear pathway to careers in the entertainment industry, uninhibited by background, demographics or personal circumstance. The campaign drives funds towards BAFTA LA’s acclaimed scholarship, education and community initiatives, allowing the organization to discover, support and nurture talented professionals. Famous faces at the fete included James Franco, Armie Hammer, Jessica Chastain, Nick Jonas, Mary J. Blige, Naomi Campbell, Amy Pascal, Justin Hartley, Timothée Chalamet and Diane Kruger.

Sean Penn hosted a gala dinner to benefit J/P Haitian Relief Organization and a coalition of disaster relief organizations including Lin-Manuel Miranda Efforts in Puerto Rico, Waitt Foundation in Antigua/Barbuda, PCI in Houston and Americares in Florida. The event, which was held at the Montage Beverly Hills, was co-hosted by Penn, Bryan Lourd and Alexandra & Sean Parker and sponsored by Lynne & Marc Benioff. This year’s event honored Leonardo DiCaprio for his continuous leadership on combatting climate change. Now more than ever, we see the increasingly devastating effects of global warming on rising water levels and even more dangerous storms. Guests included David Spade, Casey Affleck, Jason Segel, Spike Jonze, Brad Pitt, Lena Dunham, Beck, Rachel Zoe, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Willem Dafoe, Tobey Maguire, Mark Burnett, Susan Sarandon, Emilia Clarke, Colbie Caillat, Kit Harington, Floriana Lima, Ricky Martin, plus a special surprise musical performance by James Taylor and a live auction.

Moët & Chandon carried on Golden Globes weekend by celebrating The Art of Elysium’s 11th Annual “HEAVEN” gala. John Legend, the charity’s 2018 Visionary, was the creative force behind this year’s event, creating an experience based on his concept of heaven as a celebration of love, light and laughter. An illustrious crowd from the arts and entertainment worlds converged at the historic Barker Hangar theater including: Actresses Amber Heard, Shailene Woodley, Rooney Mara, Nikki Reed, Vanessa Hudgens, Victoria Justice, Abigail Spencer, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Ashley Madekwe, Amy Smart, Ali Larter; Actors Gray Gubler & Jesse Metcalf (with wife Cara Santana) Riverdale costars Camila Mendes, Madelaine Petsch,  Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, Dita Von Teese, Kristen Cavallari and Derek Hough, amongst others. Guests mingled sipping goblets of Moët & Chandon Imperial, and the official cocktail of the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards, The Moët 75, created by actress Jamie Chung. The evening hosted by comedian Nick Kroll concluded by none other than Legend taking stage to perform his tribute to Stevie Wonder. Actress Shanola Hampton was honored with the 2018 SPIRIT OF ELYSIUM award for her generous support over the years.

A lounge design concept brought to life with strong, eclectic elements of columns, mirrors, blacks, whites, grays and golds with hints of deep purples created the warm inviting space where guests felt cozy and sipped Perrier-Jouët all night.

HBO hosted its annual Luxury Lounge presented by Ancestry this weekend at The Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. Nominated television and film stars that indulged included: I, Tonya’s Allison Janney; Black-ish’s Anthony Anderson, Miles Brown, Vernon Gaines, Deon Cole, Jeff Meacham, Marcus Scribner, Marsai Martin, Black Steven, Peter Mackenzie; Handmaid’s Tale Ann Dowd and Ever Carrdaine; and The Shape of Water’s Doug Jones. At the suite, celebrities built their own family trees on Ancestry.com and were gifted with a variety of top-of-the-line items including bottles of Don Julio, Boiron homeopathic remedies, Gendarme cologne and Silk Therapeutics skincare.

This year, the GBK Luxury Lounge was all about going for the gold. Nominees and presenters were gifted “golden” technology and gifts throughout the lounge presented by family-owned winery Blue Nun.
