With her captain, Whitney Reiter, and her professional and experienced crew, this transformed vessel returns to the charter market with a new name, a new interior, upgraded AV and beach club.
Ocean Independence is offering her in the Bahamas this Winter and New England for Summer with charter rates starting at $155,000 USD per week. This will offer you the full service of nine crew members, an extensive choice of water toys and five luxurious staterooms, accommodating a maximum number of 12 guests.

The master stateroom entrance is situated on the main deck. The walk-around king bed faces aft and features a 46” flat screen TV, surround-sound, vanity to port and couch to starboard. There is an en-suite bathroom with oversized Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, twin basins and a wealth of other amenities. Flooring is heated and the entire master suite features five large oval windows, providing stunning views and plenty of natural light. A spiral stairwell to the lower deck accesses the further four guest staterooms, with the guest foyer below featuring a stunning Tiger’s Eye inlay. Two of the staterooms are set aft to starboard, with the other two located forward, each with en suite bathroom.
All of the accommodation have been upgraded with new AV technology including flatscreen TVs. Each room is equipped with individual climate control and satellite receivers, complete blackout capabilities, iPod docking stations, Crestron iPad controls, hair-dryers, telephone and intercom.

From the main salon to the sky lounge guests have a variety of social environments to enjoy. There are two dining areas on the main and bridge deck levels plus plenty of relaxation and entertaining space, from the superb beach club to the expansive sun deck featuring a central bar and jacuzzi aft.
A 35’ Scout center console tender equipped with 3 outboards is widely used while AVALON is at anchor. Why? Because the captain is one of the best in the business when it comes to all kinds of fishing: a popular choice with charter guests. Not that two wave runners, a Hobiecat, two Seabobs and a towering slide will allow boredom to set in at any time!
