Rare “Remembering Disneyland” items will go to the auction block on Saturday at Van Eaton Galleries. More than 800 rare items are available as super-collectors will go head-to-head to try and take home their own Disney memorabilia.

Items being auctioned include the original drawings, paintings and models for Sleeping Beauty Castle, cast member costumes, Tower of Terror props, Golden Horseshoe memorabilia and an original Autopia car. Multiple items from the park’s opening day have been gathered for the collection including an original press preview ticket, a Disneyland Hotel sales brochure and original guest room key and fob.

From the Hall of Presidents exhibition, stage models of Lincoln and JFK are up for bid. Vintage dresses and souvenir figurines from the Tiki Room will be hot items. And even props including signs and life preservers from the Mark Twain Riverboat ride can be bid upon.

The “Remembering Disneyland” collection paints a broad history of the building and life of the Southern California theme park. A catalog of items is also on sale which reads as a trip through ’50s and ’60s nostalgia.

The auction at Van Eaton Galleries opens at 11 a.m. PST live on-site and online.
