Project Neptune Launches A Partnership Between Triton And Aston Martin

It seems there has been passion long before this project was born. The subtle design of Aston Martin has always appealed to Patrick Lahey, President of Triton Submersibles. Now his admiration is inspiring a new project to come to life with a partnership that will give birth to a limited-edition submersible. Joining expertise from the maritime and automotive spheres, both producers are considered a leading force in the market.

We can only imagine what the collaboration effort will produce as information is very scarce at the moment. We have two picture renders available and it is anticipated production numbers will be limited to low, double-figures. The base of the concept is a proved Triton low-profile three person platform on which Aston Martin will produce its progressive design inspiration. It is understandable, that project Valkyrie, a brutal Aston Martin hyper car, was somewhat of a creative vantage before the design pencils were sharpened.

Triton has unparalleled expertise in the design, manufacture and operation of submersibles for researchers, explorers and super yacht owners. Their team is committed to producing the safest and best performing, deep-diving submersibles in the world. Aston Martin Consulting provides design, engineering and manufacturing services to select industries, distilling the brand’s essence into exciting new projects without compromising their fundamental qualities.

This will be their first collaboration with an outsourced company and we are looking towards the horizon with excitement. Or as Patrick Lahey put it, “From our first interaction, it was apparent that Triton and Aston Martin were natural partners and our complimentary values will be realized in this truly exciting project.”
