Master Chefs of France Brunch and Book Launch
Get a taste of France at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay tomorrow at the Master Chefs of France: Brunch and Book Launch. The event is taking place at Navio, the resort’s restaurant at 12 p.m. Naivo’s executive chef, Xavier Salomon, the winner of the French Master Chef of the Year Award, has invited nine of the Bay Area’s best French chefs to cook with him. Roland Passot of La Folie, Gerald Hirigoyen of Piperade, Claude Le Tohic of Alexander’s Steakhouse, Laurent Manrique of Café de la Presse, Fabrice Marcon of Berkeley City Club, Joël Guillon of Left Bank Brasserie, Eric Branger of The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles, and Michel Blanchet of Michel Cordon Bleu will all be at the brunch creating dishes like dover sole Normandy and duck leg in Cabernet sauce with mushrooms and Pyrenees cheese polenta. A portion of each ticket will benefit the Tipping Point Emergency Relief Fund, which supports low-income families affected by the North Bay fires.
Posh Pop-Up
One of the Bay Area’s most stylish tastemakers, Chrisa Pappas is has opened an exclusive designer clothing pop-up shop. The Posh Pop-Up, at 55 Stockton Street in downtown San Francisco, opened today at 11 am. Shop for pre-owned barely worn luxury goods by amazing brands—Valentino, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, and Dolce & Gabbana, to name a few. The pop-up boutique will be closed on the 25 and 26 and last from now until December 28.
Nutcracker Benefit Luncheon
Tomorrow is the San Francisco Ballet’s Nutcracker Benefit Luncheon: Land of Dreams—an event sponsored by Tiffany & Co. All proceeds benefit the ballet’s school, youth programs, scholarship fund. The festive luncheon starts at 11:30 a.m. and includes family-oriented activities like crafts and photo opportunities with the Sugar Plum Fairy. After lunch, ticket holders watch the matinee performance with an intermission reception.
