The Shopkeep Gift Guide With St. Frank’s Christina Bryant

St. Frank

This holiday season instead of doing a traditional gift guide, I’ve reached out to my favorite local shop owners to learn what they recommend giving. The retailers stock their respective stores with gorgeous clothing, covetable home goods, sensational spirits, and delicious eats, so naturally they have a knack for selecting the perfect gift. I came up with a list of 10 quintessential SF personalities, from the gentleman farmer to the Color Factory girl, and asked the curator what they would give each unique type. Now through Christmas, I’ll be sharing their gift guides.

First up: St. Frank’s Christina Bryant. The modern bohemian luxury brand started out as a framed textile business in 2013. Two years later, Bryant opened her first brick-and-mortar location of St. Frank on Sacramento Street. St. Frank quickly became one of the hottest shops on the block selling original pieces created by traditional artisans in places like India and Ghana. This year she also opened storefronts in New York and Palm Beach. Oprah, Nate Berkus, and Barneys are fans of Bryant’s carefully curated selection of throw pillows, table linens, and wallpaper prints. Bryant believes that St. Frank’s baby alpaca throws, hammered copper pod bowls, and manmade ornaments make excellent gifts. On her wishlist this year? One of St. Frank’s collaboration trays, made in partnership with Sally King Benedict. Below, in her own words, are Bryant’s other recommendations.
