Miami’s hospitality king, David Grutman, is set to open his third dining destination in the Magic City this winter—this time, offering high-quality, plant-based food at Planta.

Hailing from Toronto, Planta brings forth an innovative menu featuring fresh, responsibly sourced ingredients, delivering a diverse, all-vegan menu. Keeping with the wave of vegan and vegetarian-friendly dining destinations emerging throughout the country, and particularly Miami, the spot seeks to give Miamians a taste of the green life without leaving you void of the non-vegan delicacies you crave, with menu items like Cauliflower Tots, Crab Cakes, The Planta Burger, Coconut Ceviche and the 18 Carrot Dog. Additionally, the restaurant will offer cold-press juices, cocktails and shots made out of creative, flavorful combinations using fresh fruits and vegetables.

Miamians can expect to see Planta arrive to the scene in early 2018 in the charming South of Fifth neighborhood. Following the success of entrepreneur David Grutman’s prior two dining destinations—downtown hot spot Komodo and the Miami Design District’s OTL—it’s no doubt that the Toronto outpost will be nothing short of extraordinary in its debut in Miami, and a welcome addition to the current plant-based eateries located in the city.
