Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is adding another title under his belt as a new restaurant owner as he joins the lineup of A-list celebrities including Enrique Iglesias, San Antonio Spurs‘ Pau Gasol and tennis pro Rafael Nadal in ownership of TATEL. With Ronaldo now on board, TATEL Miami easily becomes the most celeb-owned restaurant in the Magic City.
TATEL‘s global concept is to showcase the best of Spanish cuisine to the world and TATEL Miami does that with Executive Chef Sergio Martinez. Six new dishes will appear on the menu for the first time this month that are equally delicious and unique to the spot. These include tender grilled Colorado lamb chops, Main Lobster Tempura with TATEL sauce, seared “yesso” scallops—which hail from Japan and are served with sautéed vegetables—and Spanish carabineros, oversize gambas served with avocado.
TATEL’s signature dishes are still available and include cured Ibérico ham “alta expressión,” bluefin tuna tartar, grilled octopus with confit potatoes and mojo sauce, and the famous Veal Milanese TATEL with a fried egg and black truffle (presented tableside). Some of the dishes that are popular amongst guests include alicantino-style rice with shrimp, grilled Mediterranean branzino with TATEL extra virgin olive oil and sides like french fries TATEL and padrón peppers.
TATEL Miami will also feature live music on Wednesdays with Cuban jazz singer Luis Bofill to bring even more glamorous Spanish flair to the Magic City.
