Weekend Roundup: Tiffany & Co.’s Ballet Party; Hero Shop’s Luncheon

Tiffany & Co. hosted a cocktail party to kickstart its partnership with the San Francisco Ballet. The jeweler is the official sponsor for the Nutcracker Benefit Luncheon, which takes place on December 16. Nutcracker chairs Kelsey Lamond and Christine Leong Connors gave a quick toast thanking Tiffany & Co. for supporting the ballet. Notables who came out to celebrate the ballet? Allison Speer, Andrew Gn, Patricia Dassios, and O.J. Shansby.

Fashion designer Adam Lippes was in town for a trunk show at Hero Shop. The boutique’s owner, Emily Holt, hosted an in-store soirée for the designer. The elegant luncheon was catered by the Saratoga, which is located next door to Hero Shop, with beautiful florals and tablescape by The Wild Ones. Lippes served snow cones to the stylish ladies in attendance including actress Connie Nielsen, stylist Mary Gonsalves Kinney, and socialite Vanessa Getty.

Last week the Consul General of Italy, Lorenzo Ortona, and his wife, Sheila, hosted an event in honor of Nicola Luisotti, the outgoing musical director of the San Francisco Opera. The festival farewell party included multiple toasts that thanked Luisotti for his cultural contribution to the Italian community. Beloved Italian restaurant Perbacco catered the event and they served Luisotti’s favorite dish, mushroom risotto. Among the seventy guests who raised a glass to the Luisottis were Keith and Prisca Geeslin, Paul Pelosi, Jane Mudge and Matthew Shivlock.
