From an 80s themed costume party to a swanky package in the Seaport District that includes a visit to Salem, here’s a look at some of the best ways to celebrate Halloween in Boston.

To kick the Halloween week off right, The Beehive will be hosting a ghoulishly glamorous evening on Wednesday, October 25, complete with performances by NYC burlesque legend Calamity Chang, Rebecca the Belly Dancer and vintage flapper and tap divas, The Tropigals. The Boohive Halloween, Dance with the Devil will feature a haute menu including Za’atar Roasted Chicken with smoked corn salad, pickled onion, potato and lime, Duck au Poivre with mustard jus, pickles and schmaltz fried rice and Lamb Moussaka with eggplant, tomato, feta, potato and spinach.

It’s time to dress up in your favorite 80s clothes and head over to Kimpton Marlowe Hotel for an 80’s themed costume party on Friday, October 27 in the hotel’s outdoor courtyard. “A Stranger Evening – an original 1980’s Halloween party” is a nod to Netflix’s popular original series Stranger Things and will feature a dance floor with 80s sound track by DJ Kupah James and Stranger Things inspired foods courtesy of Bambara Chef David Bazirgan. VIP ticket holders will receive access to a private bar (including special after-hours), a custom-themed Trucker Hat and complimentary parking.

Get your groove on at The Scorpion Bar Mexican Cantina Patriot Place Halloween weekend with spinning DJs and crazy costumes all weekend long. The fun begins on Friday, October 27 with music by XKaliber and continues on Saturday night, October 28 at 10 p.m. with music by JesseJess. Come a little bit early and snack on some chicken and queso stuffed taquitos, a “screaming scorpion” overstuffed grilled burrito or steak enchiladas and don’t forget about their to-die-for warm Oreo churros covered in Mexican cinnamon sugar served with a side of chocolate dipping sauce.

GEM Nightclub is celebrating Halloween with a swanky party featuring DJ Ryan Nichols on Saturday October, 28. Costumes are encouraged for this spooky soirée, so dress to the nines and don’t forget your dancing shoes.

Also being held on October 28 at Revere Hotel Boston Common is their fifth annual Fear at the Revere celebration. One of the most popular dance parties in town, this is also the city’s best costume party with more than 750 expected this year.

For American Horror Story fans, head over to Sky Lounge’s rooftop bar at YOTEL, on October 28, which will transform into a Halloween horror show featuring a virtual reality haunted house, psychic readings, specialty Witch’s Coven Cocktail and music by DJ Lay-Z-Boy. Costumes are strongly encouraged and best dressed will be awarded an overnight stay at YOTEL with dining included.

Next week, the Aloft Boston Seaport is hosting a Room 1313 Package that might be the best way to celebrate the spooky holiday. From October 26-31, the hotel is offering a Halloween experience complete with a one night stay in room 1313, decorated in haunting design, professional, ghoulish makeup done for two by “Factory of Terror” artist Chatel Cunha, two complimentary “Bobbin’ for Apples” cocktails from the W XYZ bar, private transportation to/from Salem, Mass. and an itinerary of scheduled events in the historic “Witch City.”
