With it finally starting to feel a bit more like fall, the Big Apple is finally embracing the chilling new weather with jackets, wools, and festivals in the streets. The Hester Street Fair
What started as a Lower East Side pop up has rapidly become one of the most go-to spots of any Fall weekend. The Hester Street Fair offers some of the best food, music, and style samples of the entire season. Go for the live music, but stay for dessert from the likes of Petee’s Pie Company, La Newyorkina, and Melt Bakery.
Bond, James Bond
Down at the Django in Tribeca, the venue will be hosting throughout the month a series of showings for the music of James Bond, with live bands playing through the soundtrack of some of history’s most stylish films. Sip on martinis shaken, not stirred, and wear your best suit to live like the international spy himself.
Billy Joel At Madison Square Garden
While MSG has long been a favorite stage for New York’s iconic piano man, Joel keeps adding dates to his residency at the venue. Although it seems like Billy Joel’s time at Madison Square Garden will go on indefinitely, now is definitely the time to get in there now before its too late!
Chihuly
This art exhibition at the Bronx Botanical Gardens is well worth the subway ride uptown. A series of gigantic, glowing pieces will be taking over the gardens as part of a massive installation by the artist Dale Chihuly. The glowing neon structures make for the perfect colorful walk through the gardens or that eye-popping addition to your Instagram feed.
