Be that as it may, I have enablers feeding my pumpkin obsession. I once was gifted a gallon of the official Starbucks “Pumpkin Spiced Latte” syrup. When I found out it was stolen I was sick to my stomach, so I made a PSL latte, venti, iced with almond milk, to calm my nerves. I’m not the most creative cook, in fact I’m not a cook at all, but these four restaurants are. They have pumpkin-themed delicacy alternatives to the traditional latte and pie. There’s a flatbread somewhere in there I want to try so badly, so if anyone at La Cave is reading this: holla.
1. MB STEAK

The devil is working hard at MB Steak at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino because there’s a “Pumpkin Milkshake” itching to keep you, and me, from fitting into that Halloween costume we swore we’d fit into by this year. It’s made of pumpkin cheesecake ice cream, topped with cream cheese whipped cream and a house-made pumpkin pie slice. Live your life, order the shake, go up a size because thick is in.
2. NORTHSIDE CAFÉ AND CHINESE KITCHEN

Not sure who made up all these rules about what breakfast should look like, but in the spirit of everyone taking themselves way too seriously these days, Northside Cafe and Chinese Kitchen’s “Caramel Pumpkin Pancakes” will have you strutting blissfully and full. The ‘cakes are topped with whipped cream, streusel, and regret. *stuffs pancakes in mouth unapologetically*
3. TREVI
Apparently, Trevi is now serving “Pumpkin Cheesecake Gelato” and apparently I’m supposed to write these reviews without wanting to break my detox, so guess what? I lose. Trevi, reservations for two please (same goes for you MB). The gelato is made of sweet spiced pumpkin, cheesecake, and graham crackers.
4. LA CAVE WINE & FOOD HIDEAWAY

There are 250 wines at La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway. That has NOTHING to do with this post, but hey: PSA. La Cave is, however, the place I told you has a “Pumpkin Flatbread”. It’s made with pumpkin puree, arugula, aged goat cheese, crispy prosciutto, and my tears. By the way: go back, count, and tell me how many times I’ve said pumpkin–it’s for science.
