Street Artist George Nicolas-Nader Shares His Haute Secrets

george naderGeorge Nicolas-Nader, better known as Mister George, is a street Artist that started his artistic career after picking up a Jean-Michael Basquiat book. His knowledge from fashion school lead to his collaboration with luxury men’s and women’s designer Fabrice Tardieu during Art Basel 2016. Following that, he has been focusing on the Latin Music Industry painting clothing and creating paintings for musicians like Juanes, J Balvin, Nicky Jam, Arcangel, among many more. He has characterized his own emoji, influenced by Mister Nice Guy. Currently, Mister George continues to work with the Latin musicians, and expanding to the rap industry and focusing on this year’s upcoming Art Basel.

How long in Miami: I have lived in Miami for twenty-two years

Neighborhood: I have lived in Coral Gables & Brickell. Now I’m living between Downtown & the Dominican Republic.

Favorite cultural institution: La Zona Colonial in Dominican Republic, it is where my deceased grandfather’s hotel is, the area holds a lot of African and native Taino influences which have also influenced me in my work.
