One can see how Victoria Beckham’s idea of femininity has evolved and matured over the past few seasons from sexy, formfitting body-con dresses and sky-high stilettos to soft, slouchy trousers and feminine flowing blouses in soft neutrals. For Spring 2018, Beckham elevates the pajama daywear trend to new heights by lengthening her dress hemlines to full-length flowing numbers and complementing them with structured oversized vests. It’s a sign of the no-fuss times as she designs for the sophisticated woman who wants to look effortlessly chic.

Over the last few seasons, we have seen Prabal Gurung incorporate suggestive thigh-high slits and feminine cut-outs in his collections – for his Spring 2018 line we see how these subtle details have now become a signature mainstay. Upping the romance factor, Gurung incorporates gorgeous cut-outs into flirty, floral-print dresses. He also takes a playful risk this season by weaving pops of color like bursts of sunshine yellow and electric blue into knit dresses and accenting those with, of course, strategically placed cut-outs. Gurung closed out his show with a string of breathtaking floral print dresses with hip-high slits that showed us how the designer continues to charm us with his youthful and feminine designs.

With a focus on individual beauty, Tracy Reese once again puts together a presentation that celebrates diversity and the strength of the feminine spirit. Modern silhouettes in bold, saturated colors created a confident statement that would easily translate to all facets of a woman’s life. Free-flowing dresses, emphasized shoulders and statement outerwear gave a fresh message with flattened, contemporary art-inspired prints. You left the space feeling renewed and re-energized, seeing beautiful clothes with a real message and point of view.
