Miami Hotels And Restaurants Offer Special Deals And Relief Funds For Irma

The Miami community is coming together following the monstrous megastorm Hurricane Irma that left parts of our city, the Caribbean and Western Florida in destruction. To raise funds for those affected by the storm and also show some love to the community, here’s a look at some of the ways Miami hotels and restaurants are stepping up.

JOEY’S WYNWOOD

The Wynwood eatery is giving back to the most important part of our community—the crews and volunteers who have been working tirelessly to restore our city. The restaurant will be serving a complimentary hot lunch for all uniformed first responders every day for the remainder of the week through Sunday.

THE NAUTILUS

The Miami Beach Hotel is offering $99 room rates for Florida residents to provide a place for those still without power to escape to for a much-needed staycation. Additionally, the hotel is offering complimentary Wi-Fi, waived resort fee, 20 percent discount on all food and beverages, 20 percent discount at EXPAT boutique, discounted day only valet parking at $12 per vehicle and overnight per vehicle parking. Guests can also enjoy discounted Miami Spice menus at the Nautilus Cabana Club.


DELANO, SLS SOUTH BEACH AND SLS BRICKELL

sbe Miami is offering special Florida Residents reduced rates from Friday, September 15th through Sunday, September 17th. The room rate will be $150 nightly room rate with waived resort fees for residents only—proof of residency required at check-in.


MATADOR ROOM AND MARKET AT THE MIAMI BEACH EDITION

Both Miami Beach Edition restaurants will open once again on Friday and will offer a 15 percent discount on all checks from Florida residents.

The EAST, Miami Hotel’s rooftop bar will be offering a specialty “Irma Relief Cocktail” ($16), deliciously made with Plymouth Gin, St. Germain, Muddled Apple, Aloe, Pineapple and Lime Juice, where $2 from each drink will be donated to Feeding South Florida.

WALL Nightclub

The haute South Beach nightclub is throwing post-Irma charity party all weekend long. From Friday-Sunday, the hot spot will be taking donations and giving 100 percent of the door revenue to the Red Cross to those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
