Audi kicked off Emmy weekend as usual with its annual pre-Emmy celebration party. The car brand—the official automotive partner and vehicle provider of the 69th Emmy Awards—hosted a rooftop celebration at The Highlight Room at Dream Hollywood. The 2018 Audi R8 made a special red carpet appearance, while VIPs including Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Kathryn Hahn, Tessa Thompson, Justin Hartley and Ricky Whittle were chauffeured in 2018 Audi vehicles to the exclusive celebration. In addition, the 2018 Audi Q7 chauffeured nominees and presenters to the Emmy Awards on Sunday September 17th.

On September 15, Variety and Women In Film once again toasted the 2017 Television Nominees at their annual celebration at Gracias Madre, two days before the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony. Guests—including Viola Davis and Danielle Campbell—indulged in guilt free treats from Halo Top at the event, while, Mercedes-Benz, the event’s premier sponsor, displayed their stunning new Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster – the latest high performance addition to the impressive Mercedes-AMG model range. Entertainment Weekly celebrated TV’s biggest weekend with their annual pre-Emmy party honoring the 2017 Emmy nominees and the stars of the new fall TV season. Past and present nominees, fall TV talent and industry elite came together with presenting sponsor L’Oréal Paris to celebrate this year’s accomplishments and toast to the very best in television at Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles, with tunes from DJ Michelle Pesce.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) celebrated Emmy weekend with their annual TV Tea Party on Saturday afternoon at The Beverly Hilton hotel. The 2017 Tea celebrated excellence in television by honoring this year’s nominees from the UK, US and beyond.  Emmy Nominees, celebrities, BAFTA members, and leading television executives enjoyed traditional British tea and scones and cocktails, as BAFTA Los Angeles raised awareness and support for its Access for All campaign, a commitment to ensuring that talented individuals are offered a clear pathway to careers in the entertainment industry, uninhibited by background, demographics or personal circumstance. The campaign also includes scholarship, education and community initiatives, allowing the organization to discover, support and nurture talented professionals. Guests included “The Crown” stars Claire Foy and Matt Smith, Evan Rachel Wood and Charles, 9th Earl Spencer & Countess Karen Spencer.

 FX Networks, in partnership with Vanity Fair, hosted a private cocktail party to celebrate FX’s 55 Emmy nominations. Television’s second biggest night took place in Century City on Saturday, where the entertainment industry came together for the 11th annual “Evening Before” party, benefitting MPTF (Motion Picture & Television Fund).The television industry, from Emmy presenters and nominees, to other TV industry members, helped raise funds to support their industry colleagues and friends who benefit from MPTF’s charitable programs and services such as financial assistance, crisis counseling, care giving support and of course the legendary retirement facility in Woodland Hills that is “home” to television and film veterans alike. The 11th Annual “Evening Before” Host Committee consisted of Anthony Anderson, Julie Bowen, Sterling K. Brown, Ty Burrell, Robert DeNiro, Tracee Ellis Ross, America Ferrera & Ryan Piers Williams, Donald Glover, Tony Goldwyn, Felicity Huffman & William H. On September 17th, the television industry’s biggest night fêted its MVPs at an event that was solid gold. Following the Stephen Colbert-hosted 69th Emmy® Awards telecast, a team of Hollywood power players, including event planner Cheryl Cecchetto and James Beard-winning chef Joachim Splichal, joined forces yet again to bring the ‘Golden Grandeur’ 2017 theme to life—in an eco-friendly way, no less (an important and timely focus that did not exist in previous years). All décor and food elements were either recyclable, repurposed or bio-degradable in a bid to show The Television Academy’s commitment to the environment. Winners such as Alexander Skarsgard, Alec Baldwin, Aziz Ansari and Donald Glover were in attendance at the gala, which was held, as usual, at the Los Angeles Convention Center following the ceremony.

Anthony Anderson was the life of the party at GBK’s annual gifting suite at Viceroy L’Ermitage Beverly Hills. At the Pilot Pen-sponsored event, the Emmy nominee hit the turntables and also walked around to various vendors including Blooming Skin Care, iMaxAlarm and Burke Williams. Pilot Pen’s “Modern Classics” theme inspired talent to write inspirational messages with the #1 selling and favorite pen in the US, the Vanishing Point retractable fountain pen, with a 18-karat gold nib.
