Drink in Culture at Maple & Ash
Looking for a spot to enjoy a cocktail post curtain-close? Maple & Ash has teamed up with The Looking Glass Theater to create a drink based on the playhouse’s latest headliner, Charles Dickens’ Hard Times. The drink, dubbed Scotchy, Scotch Scotch, will be available in tandem with the show’s run October 4, 2017-January 14, 2018, and features Glenmorangie 10-year Original Scotch, David Nicholson Bourbon, Grand Marnier, Cocchi di Torino and Ardbeg 10 Year Old Islay Scotch.
Art en Secret at The Thompson Hotel

The Thompson Hotel will unveil its second installment of its “Secret Staircase” art series this week. The exhibit, which is displayed in a hidden passageway in the hotel, includes installations from local muralists and is a partnership with EXPO Chicago and the MCA.
