If you weren’t lucky enough to lunch with the ladies of Red Sox Nation on Friday afternoon and watch them as they strutted their stylish selves on the runway, here’s a look back at what you missed.

Each year, Red Sox players’ wives and girlfriends hit the fashion runway with an event known as From Fenway to the Runway that benefits the Red Sox Foundation’s Scholars Program presented by Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and its RBI Youth Baseball and Softball Program.. This year’s 16th annual event was held at Hotel Commonwealth, the official hotel of the Boston Red Sox.

“This was our second year partnering with the Red Sox Foundation for this event,” said Darlene Marquez Reddick, public relations manager for Bloomingdale’s. “As a company, Bloomingdale’s is very philanthropic, so to be able to work with the Foundation has been incredible. This year, we featured fall trends that are very fashion-forward. We had lots of designer pieces along with contemporary brands like Giorgio Armani and Carolina Herrera. Some of the hot trends this year are varying shades of red in velvet with lots of embellishments and metallics. We also featured everything from ball gowns to denim with hot marigold and purple colors along with the top color this season, which is cherry red. This year, we had 21 looks that ranged literally from Fenway to the runway and back, so the Red Sox wives could wear them at the game, when they travel and when they are at home.”

Liz Brunner of Brunner Communications emceed the event and live auction, which included many items donated by the players and their wives. The women who participated this year included Erin Bradley, Ginsey Boyer, Dianne Jochim, Ashley Kelly, Ashley Kimbrel, Susannah Moreland, Georgia Nua, and Carolyn Pomeranz.

“The event is a fun way to engage the wives and girlfriends of Red Sox players and talk about the great work the Red Sox Foundation is doing,” said Linda Pizzuti Henry, wife of Red Sox owner John Henry. “The women are all glamorous and this is always a fun afternoon to raise money for the scholarship program.” (They were hoping to raise about $75,000 at this year’s event).
