Sedona’s Natural Beauty: The Enchantment Resort

There is something so intoxicatingly relaxing about Sedona that you seem to immediately unwind upon seeing the gorgeous natural beauty of the area’s red rock canyons. The vibrant Boynton Canyon that is home to northern Arizona’s Enchantment Resort offers a true escape from it all where peace and quietude rivals the property’s natural beauty.

Whether you choose to spend the morning taking a scenic hike, an invigorating Pilates class or a mountain bike excursion, or simply prefer to spend it enjoying the peaceful beauty the area is so well known for, that’s about the only stressful decision you will have to make during your stay here. There are 70 acres to explore here of natural terrain surrounded by the beautiful red rock formations.

We recommend a stay in a spacious casita studio overlooking the beautiful red rocks, which features a high wood beamed ceiling living room complete with gas beehive fireplace and pull-down queen bed that can be easily tucked away when not in use.

The southwestern style casita is complemented with gorgeous earth tones. The massive outdoor balcony with built-in gas grill provided the perfect respite after a day of touring the spectacular grounds. This casita was also equipped with a kitchenette with small refrigerator and cooktop unit along with all of the appliances you need.

Dinner at Che Ah Chi is inspired by seasonal ingredients and modern American cuisine. Ingredients here are sourced from their own kitchen garden along with local and neighboring organic growers, artisan cheese makers, sustainable fish traders and ranchers. Request a table on the outdoor balcony for al fresco dining and try the fresh burrata or tuna tartare to get started. Move onto an order of shrimp scampi made with fresh pasta or a juicy filet mignon with mashed potatoes served up with some of the most stunning red rock views you will ever see.

The property is also home to the world-renowned spa, Mii amo, an all-inclusive destination spa resort in itself. There are 16 guestrooms and suites here where you can enjoy relaxing treatments that focus on Native American tradition and sumptuous cuisine.

We recommend signing up for the luxurious 90-minute couples’ Swedish massage. (All of the treatments are scheduled in 60-, 90- or 120-minute intervals). We loved how this classic massage proved to relieve muscle tension, improved our overall circulation and allowed us to release stress through the use of soothing essential oils.

Keep an eye out for special events being held here each day like the makeup workshop being held during our stay with celebrity makeup artist Wendy Stull, who covered basic makeup application, concepts and color theory as well as application techniques of the La Bella Donna makeup line.
