Richie Hosein, the co-owner of AM Southampton, has strong ties in the hospitality and music industry. As the Managing Partner of Exit Hospitality Group and Co-founder of AM Southampton, Richie is completely immersed in the hospitality industry. Successfully transitioning the former 1OAK to AM Southampton by observing the Hamptons market carefully and creating an experience rather than just a nightlife destination. 

He credits his success to “providing the best products and services, treating his employees better than they have been treated before, and providing his investors with solid, residual returns on their money.” This philosophy has allowed him to build several multi-million dollar businesses and continually retain the best talent. His success has been recognized by his high school as well. Every year, the institution gives out a Rich Hosein Athletic Scholarship to future leaders that exhibit leadership skills both athletically and academically.

Most interesting thing you learned while working with AM Southampton?: The Hamptons is a unique market place. If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.

Most interesting thing you learned working in hospitality: It’s always changing and adapting which keeps it fun and exciting.

Craziest thing you’ve experienced while working in hospitality: Greatest of all time Michael Jordan hanging out at my table with his wife Yvette Prieto drinking 1942.

What are you looking forward to most within the next year?: Improving personally and professionally, exploring new opportunities, and enjoying this journey.

If you could give advice to yourself 10 years ago, what would it be?: If your investing into any project make sure your available and capable of being invested into the project personally.

What advice would you give to someone pursuing a career in the hospitality industry?: No matter what industry you decide make sure you’re passionate about it in your bones. As for Hospitality make sure you genuinely enjoy trying to make others happy.
