THE VENICE WHALER
Monday through Thursday from 4-7pm, head down the the beach and gaze out at the ocean from the Venice Whaler, which offers $2 off drafts, $2 off well cocktails, $5 off pitchers, $5 house wines, and $7 Old Fashioned cocktails. PERCH
Monday through Friday from 4-6 pm, all of downtown L.A. is your oyster from Perch. Beer is $5, wine is $6 and Royals–a shot of something creme-y added to a glass of champers, is also $6. Fancy craft cocktails like the Hemingway on the Beach—Greenall’s gin, Luxardo, lemon juice and angostura—are $7 and petite items like brie en croute—puff pastry wrapped brie with apple and fennel, and mini hot dogs, are so cheap they’re almost free. TERRAZZA LOUNGE AT HOTEL CASA DEL MAR
UPSTAIRS AT THE ACE
They won’t call it happy hour, but it certainly is (and, to be fair to the hotel, we agree… no matter what you call it, it “is a good time!” At Upstairs, Mondays through Fridays from 12 – 5:30 pm, guests can indulge in $1 oysters and ever-changing drink specials plus one of the best views in all of downtown Los Angeles. 929 S Broadway, Los Angeles
MAMA SHELTER
Take in the best views of L.A. from the rooftop at Mama Shelter, where discounted drinks are available from 3-7 pm Monday through Friday. 6500 Selma Ave, Los Angeles

Head up to the L.P. rooftop Monday through Friday and sip up the $5 cocktail of the day, wine or a specialty Asian beer while watching the sun go down. BOUCHON BISTRO
Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bistro offers a great view of the action outside at neighboring Montage Beverly Hills (and thus, awesome people-watching and celebrity spotting opportunities). Only available at the eatery’s second floor bar is one of the 90210’s best happy hour deals: $2 oysters, petit Bouchon hot dogs, truffle fries, and $9 cocktails.
