Arcadia Redefines Yacht Design With New A100+

Only seven years old, and already a serious disrupter in the world of yachts, Arcadia Yachts has made it its mission to redefine yacht design, and continue this mission with the new A100+.

To accomplish this they have joined forces with “Hot Lab”, and the first fruit of their collaboration is the new Arcadia A100+. The yacht itself is a combination of innovation and design. It features floor-to-ceiling windows, not only allowing plenty of light to come into the interior, but also to give you the most splendid vista’s to admire. They combine this with 540 square feet of solar cells, which should generate enough electricity to power all the electrical systems on board. Unexpected advantage: this also means that the generators don’t have to run, making the Arcadia A100+ exceptionally quiet. The GRP hull is the same as the previous A100, but that is about all that this yacht shares with its predecessor.

When you dock with the Arcadia A100+ you can expect to make quite an entrance as the design holds somewhat in the middle of a battle ship, and one of the 1920’s gentlemen cruisers. It features a large upper deck, and a convertible aft deck, on which you can dine with up to 10 guests. In comparison to its predecessor, the Arcadia A100+ now also offers almost 400 square feet of a terrace on the fly deck, making the vessel even more versatile when it comes to entertaining and lounging outdoors.

Hot Lab is an award-winning interior design firm, so it cannot come as a surprise that the Arcadia A100+ is offered with five different interior layouts, consisting out of four or five cabins. It combines luxury and elegance, but also allows future owners to work with the team to create tailor-made solutions.

Far from a concept, the first Arcadia A100+ has been ordered by a client in the UK.
