Bastille Day falls on July 14th every year, and events that celebrate French culture happen all around the city. Join one of the French celebrations going on in New York — take your pick of restaurant specials, street fairs, or some live music!

1 Claudette

For Bastille Day, the Pinterest-worthy Greenwich Village restaurant will host a Bastille Day Bash at the restaurant's outdoor cafe from 5-8pm. A $40 ticket gets you all you can drink French wine, including Claudette's new Ricard Spritz with Ricard, crème de peche, and sparkling rosé. To eat, Claudette will serve a spread of French cheeses and charcuteries by chef Ari Bokovza, including a grill station with typical french sausages Boudin Blanc and Boudin Noir.

2 Alain Ducasse’s Benoit

Alain Ducasse’s Benoit will be hosting an afternoon of French food, drinks and live music on Friday, July 14th in their wine bar. Swing by from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM and enjoy tartines and sliders, pours of rosé and pastis, a fun photo booth corner, and more. The party will also debut Benoit’s first-ever ice cream cart, which will stick around all summer long.

3 Le District

Celebrate France with a fun Bastille Day party at Le District. Enjoy live music and an extended happy hour, including $5 Kronenburgs and specialty cocktails at Le Bar. Inside the market place, enjoy French delicacies at every station, including Lamb Merguez Sausage at the Meat Station, Bacon Wrapped Scallops at the Fish Station, Truffle French Fries at the French Fry Station as well as the Rosé and Red Wine Ice Cream (yes, that's a thing).

4 Bastille Day Ball

If you're in the mood for dancing and live music, look no further than the Bastille Day Ball. Enjoy live performances featuring Chloe Perrier and the French Heart Jazz Band, passed hors d' oeuvres and cocktails. General admission ($30) includes passed hors d' oeuvres & cash bar available. ($35 at the door). VIP ticket ($120) includes a gourmet buffet, 4-hour open bar and VIP seating ($135 at the door).

5 60th Street Fair

Join New York's liveliest Bastille Day party on 60th Street for an afternoon of food, wine, culture, and entertainment. Enjoy a selection of cheese, charcuterie, and baguettes at the Summer in the South of France Tasting from 12-4pm, among other fun activities. The event will come to a close with a prize drawing at 4:45pm, where you can win a trip to Paris!
