The Fourth of July lands on a Tuesday this year, giving travelers to Las Vegas a four-day weekend if they plan it right. Fireworks, picnic fare and red, white and blue cocktails make the occasion even more festive. Here’s a look at five ways to spend the Fourth of July in Las Vegas.

1 High Roller

Watch fireworks from the High Roller observation wheel. On Sunday, July 2, beginning at 9:15 p.m., Caesars Palace fires off a fireworks show and the wheel will also be lit red, white and blue. With its 360-degree views of the entire valley, guests on the High Roller can also enjoy breathtaking sights of the various firework displays all weekend long throughout Southern Nevada.

Caesars Palace celebrates Independence Day Weekend with all the royalties of the empire. Yogis of all levels can get their zen on at Lululemon presents Silent Savasana free poolside yoga at Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis. Doors open at 7 a.m. and yoga begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 1. The pool will keep the party going with a live performance by alternative-rock band Atlas Genius beginning around 4 p.m. From 9 to 11 p.m., those seeking pre-gaming entertainment can enjoy live performances by Pia Toscano and Stefano Langone at Alto Bar as part of at the Music Series presented by 1893 from the makers of Pepsi Cola. Head to the Roman Plaza and Spanish Steps Bar for a live DJ, life-size games, drink specials and more beginning at noon on both July 1 and July 2. The Caesars Palace fireworks display on Sunday, July 2, will begin around 9 p.m. Experience the fireworks at the VIP viewing party at Venus European Pool Lounge for $99, which gets you two free drink tickets for a Tito’s Cocktail or Blue Moon, and Venus Night Swim.

SLS Las Vegas throws an outdoor cookout with a live DJ spinning a mix of American party hits and drink specials, including the holiday-themed “Firework” cocktail at Foxtail Pool. On Saturday, July 1, and Sunday, July 2, get chicken sandwiches, hot dogs and burgers and beer buckets with a choice of Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Budweiser or Bud Light Lime, priced at $35; and cabana deliveries of a Stella Artois kegerator, equivalent to 35 beers, priced at $185.

Party like a patriot this Independence Day at Cabo Wabo Cantina at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Sammy Hagar’s rockin’ cantina will celebrate America’s birthday by hosting patio party with live music, fireworks and delicious food and drinks from Friday, June 30, to Tuesday, July 4. Order the Cabo Flight, which includes Cabo Wabo Blanco, Cabo Wabo Reposado and Cabo Wabo Anejo, priced at $21. Guests can also order dishes like the nacho platter, made with a house cheese blend, beans, jalapeños, cotija cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole, priced at $14.95; carne asada tacos, made with grilled steak, salsa arbol, avocado, corn tortillas, cilantro and onions, priced at $15.95; and the Cabo Wabo chimichanga, made with picadillo beef, mixed cheese, queso sauce, served with fresh guacamole, priced at $17.95. The celebration will be complete with views of the fireworks and live music.
