Staying in the city for the Fourth of July weekend? Not only are these six restaurants open on Tuesday, they’re celebrating, too.

 

1 The Signature Room

There are few better vantage points in Chicago from which to watch the annual Navy Pier Fourth of July fireworks than atop the John Hancock Center. The Signature Room, located on the 95th floor, along with the lounge on the 96th floor, are both open on Tuesday, July 4 for regular business hours so you can toast America's birthday with a proper glass of Champagne. The Signature Room is open for dinner from 5-10 p.m., and The Signature Lounge is open from 11-12:30 a.m. Reservations are strongly recommended for the restaurant and can be made by calling 312.280.0465. The Lounge does not accept reservations.

2 Mon Ami Gabi

One of Lincoln Park's prettiest patios will be open for extended hours to celebrate the Fourth. Mon Ami Gabi will open its outdoor dining space and new Rosé Bar from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. from Friday, June 30 through Tuesday, July 4. Enjoy the view of the park while indulging in specialty bistro bites and batched cocktails, then head across the street to enjoy the fireworks. 3 Shaw's Crab House

The merriest way to spend the Fourth of July: With all-day happy hour at Shaw's Crab House. The River North restaurant is celebrating the holiday with day-long specials in the Oyster Bar, including half-priced hand-shucked oysters, select cocktails, wine, and draft beer.

4 Little Goat

The Little Goat is kicking off holiday celebrations early with two events over the weekend. First up: a weekend cocktail kickoff on June 30, featuring three speciality cocktails created by the Goat family's bartending team. Then, on July 2, the restaurant will host a rooftop barbecue with a pig roast, specialty snacks and craft cocktails from 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. Tickets are required for each event and can be purchased at littlegoatchicago.com/goathappenings

5 20 East

For its first-ever Fourth of July celebration 20 East, the new restaurant adjacent to The Talbott Hotel is offering a festive dessert: a red, white, and blue ice box cake made with strawberry cake topped with vanilla whipped cream, studded with fresh raspberries and blueberries, and served with a sparkler. The ice box cake is available July 1st - 4th. Reservations can be made by calling (312) 944-4970.
