PHILLIP LIM OPENS DTLA BOUTIQUE

Fashion brand 3.1 Phillip Lim has officially opened its first retail concept store in the Los Angeles Arts District. The brand transformed a 5,000-square foot warehouse into a conceptual interpretation of a home. Foundational design elements reference its original urban identity with the inclusion of an open floor plan, exposed wooden trusses, a timber roof, and polished concrete floors. Within this airy, bright space, Lim and team created modular spaces enhanced with mixed materials: adobe style walls, suspended strips of industrial plastic and Japanese noren style inspired curtains. 3.1 Phillip Lim will host like-minded creators in store, introducing a uniquely inspired experience and offering, specific to the Arts District location. Its first set of partners include Apparatus (lighting), Li, Inc. (stationary), M. Crow (objects and art), Patrick Parrish Gallery (furniture), and Mast Books (books). These carefully curated brands will retail alongside the 3.1 Phillip Lim women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories collections. This is the fashion line’s third U.S. location.
