On Thursday night, Scott Campbell and Clement Kwan launched Beboe, a new luxe cannabis brand that brings upscale consumers thoughtfully designed edible experiences. Beboe is based in LA, but Zak and Alex Williams hosted the debut event for the Bay Area at their home in Pacific Heights. Beboe products are made with a unique blend of THC and CBD in low doses. Pre-filled single-use vaporizers offer an easy, on-the-go cannabis experience and are filled with the popular sativa blend, organic ingredients, and natural flavors. “We hope to further along the end of prohibition by building sophisticated products and brands to attract a more sophisticated consumer,” Kwan said. “This is what we hope will be the catalyst in forging into this new frontier.” Campbell chimed in by saying that “we wanted to create a product that we’d be proud to give to our friends. We set out to create not only a quality product, but something that would truly change the way people saw cannabis as a product.”

The evening, which was also Kwan’s 40th birthday, was festive and fun. Guests—including socialites Katie Traina and Sonya Molodetskaya, politician Willie Brown, lobbyist Jason Kinney and his stylist wife, Mary Gonsalves Kinney, and innovator Yves Behar—enjoyed Beboe’s rose gold vape pens and candies and a meal catered by local Mexican favorite, Nopalito.

The other big news of the weekend was the record breaking heatwave that swept through the Bay Area. On Sunday afternoon, the temperature at SFO was 97°F. In the city it was 88°F beating a record of 86°F on the same date in 1993. The weather is supposed to remain warm throughout the week.

Happy Trails to the Golden Gate Bridge #thisiswhyweleaveinSF. #glassoff #waterski weather on the Bay !
